Marco Da Rin
Marco Da Rin holds a PhD in Economics from Stanford University and has worked at several European leading universities, including the London School for Economics (UK), Bocconi University (Milano, Italy), Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (Spain), University of Torino (Italy). He is associate professor of Finance at Tilburg University (Netherlands). Marco pioneered the study of venture capital and entrepreneurial finance in Europe and has published extensively on topics of entrepreneurial finance and public policy for entrepreneurship in top academic journals. His research has often been featured in the press and as won prestigious academic awards. He is also a co-author of the popular “Fundamentals of Entrepreneurial Finance” textbook, and advises startups and governments.
Martí Guasch
Martí Guasch holds a PhD in Economics, Finance, and Management from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Spain). He is Assistant Professor of Accounting and Entrepreneurship at Esade Business School (Spain). He was previously at the Accounting Department of Tilburg University and was visiting scholar at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School (USA). Martí has published his research in entrepreneurship and accounting journals. He is a former co-founder of a successful Traveltech startup. He is Limited Partner at Aldea Ventures, a European Venture Capital firm investing in small and micro VCs primarily in the deep tech space. He also keeps a regular investing activity as a business angel. He regularly acts as a start-up mentor and jury at many entrepreneurial contests.
Fatemeh Hosseini
Fatemeh Hosseini holds a PhD in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics (Sweden). She is Assistant Professor of Finance at Tilburg University (Netherlands). Fatemeh is Academic Co-Director of the BSc program Entrepreneurship & Business Innovation. Fatemeh has extensive experience in curriculum design: translating program learning goals into course content, teaching methods and materials. She has developed multimedia innovations for several courses. Close engagement with entrepreneurship students has given her a clear view of their aspirations, motivations, and challenges in pursuing an entrepreneurial career.
Stefano D'Urso
Stefano D Urso is a PhD candidate in Big Data and Artificial Intelligence at Università Mercatorum (Italy). He holds an MSc in Computer Science Engineering from “La Sapienza” University (Italy) and is a certified Cisco Networking Academy educator. Stefano is also a secondary school teacher at a Technical High School Institute. He previously worked as a software engineer and solution architect at several technology firms, and is co-founder and CTO of two ventures, 0100Mobile and DyslexIA, which focus on mobile solutions and AI-driven applications. His expertise spans software engineering, system architecture, big data analytics, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing, combined with extensive teaching and mentoring experience in computer science.
